Store owner, Nicole Harrison, opened Pure Roots Boutique & Gallery in August of 2013. Pure Roots moved from the small space on College Avenue to the spacious storefront on State Street (former Uptown Strings) in April of 2014 right in the middle of Uptown Westerville's State Street.
It has been Nicole's dream to open up her own boutique since she was a little girl. Her vision for Pure Roots is to create a hip, artistic space filled with handmade goods that are new, vintage, rustic, or repurposed in order to promote local artists and provide eclectic goods that are affordable for everyone.
Nicole was born and raised in Westerville, OH. She has a huge heart for the community, especially the other merchants in Uptown Westerville. She is married to Kevin Harrison and has a son, Zane.
